Who we are
Trippoa is a school transport tracking app built by Primautomate. Schools use it to run their bus fleet; parents use it to see where their child's bus is.
What we collect

| Payment records (M-Pesa reference and amount) | To manage parent subscriptions. We never see or store your M-Pesa PIN. |
Location, specifically
The driver's app records the bus's location while a trip is in progress, and stops when the trip ends. We track the bus, not the driver's personal movements and not the parent's phone. A parent's own location is never collected.
Who can see what
- Parents see only their own children, and only the bus those children ride.
- Drivers see only the children assigned to their own bus.
- School staff see the buses, children and trips belonging to their own school.
- No school can see another school's data.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use children's information for marketing of any kind. We share data only with the services needed to run the app — hosting, maps, notification delivery and M-Pesa payment processing.
How long we keep it
Trip and location history is kept so schools can review past journeys. If a child leaves the school, or a school stops using Trippoa, their records can be deleted on request.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you or your child.
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and your child's records.
- Turn off notifications at any time in your phone's settings.
Children's data
Children do not use Trippoa themselves. Information about a child is entered by their school and by their own parent, and is visible only to that parent, the child's driver, and school staff.
